This year, World Tourism Day was hosted in the Zulu Kingdom (KwaZulu-Natal) in South Africa. Splendid Marketing was delighted to work behind the scenes in collaboration with Tourism KZN, to bring their event to life.
The Tourism Market, held at the iconic Nelson Mandela Capture Site, put the spotlight on SMMEs operating in the tourism industry. Visitors to the event could sample a wide variety of local food, wine, cheese and other drinks while shopping their way through the rest of the market, which boasted exquisite beadwork, locally made clothing and much more!
This event was well attended by the public and government officials, who highlighted the importance of tourism as a critical sector for job creation and entrepreneurship.
Splendid once again delighted all in attendance with VR activations that brought KZN tourist attractions to life, excellent promoters and eye-catching branded material.
